Works inspired by a month-long Artist Residency in Zion National Park
Original compositions for string quartet, improvisatory trio of vibraphone & violins, cello-violin folk duo, solo violin and voice.
In April 2014, I had the great pleasure of spending a month as Artist-in-Residence in Zion National Park. I composed music based on my surroundings and experiences. The pieces I started and sketched in Zion changed and developed into the music you’ll hear on this recording, played live and in the studio.
This artwork was produced under the Artist-in-Residence Program at Zion National Park (exception: Chilnualna Falls). #findyourpark
